DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The function of the Maintenance Data Auditor is to periodically review the Martinair Maintenance database, and all utilized maintenance computerized tracking programs, as applicable, for accuracy. The Maintenance Data Auditor also audits technical data used by the maintenance department for accuracy. Specific duties include:

  • Review “in process” and completed work packages for thoroughness and accuracy
  • Keep accurate and current records of maintenance actions (14 CFR 135.65, 135.415, 135.417 and 135.439)
  • Ensure that all major repairs and alterations are accomplished in accordance with approved data
  • Review all utilized computerized maintenance tracking programs to ensure accuracy of tracking information
  • Audit aircraft maintenance records periodically to ensure conformity to type design and maintenance/inspection requirements
  • Ensure currency of required technical and operational publication
  • Maintain adequate and necessary work records properly executed by the responsible mechanic
  • Develop and execute programs for the selection and training of department personnel in safe procedures, methods and practices required for the maintenance of company equipment
  • Monitor the maintenance technicians training program for accuracy and currency, where applicable
  • Maintain maintenance personnel training records
  • Support Martinair Safety Programs in performance of daily duties
  • Accomplish assignments of the Director of Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

·         FAA Airframe and Powerplant License and Inspection Authorization preferred or aircraft data auditing experience required

·         Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

·         Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·         Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check

·         DOT aviation drug testing required

·         Understanding and working knowledge of FAA regulations

·         Effective communication with colleagues

·         Maintain an orderly appearance conforming with business standards
