Airshare is recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector with extensive experience working within a Quality Control aviation operations environment for an Air Carrier Certificate holder and complying with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. The candidate must have a strong background in aircraft maintenance records review and Part 135 Conformity inspections. The Quality Control Inspector will report to the Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector.
Qualified candidates will have FAA Technician certification with an Airframe & Powerplant rating, a minimum of 5 years' experience related to aircraft maintenance, and 5 years' experience in a Part 135 and/or Part 145 Quality Control environment. This position is onsite at our Shelton, CT office.
Additional qualifications:
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of FAA Regulation
• Maintenance Tracking Program (CAMP) experience preferred
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be Self-motivated and can work independently while keeping a team perspective
• Must have a working knowledge of computers and software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Ability to prioritize competing issues and coordinate resolutions with associated departments
• Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to details is a high priority
